OUR STORY

Our family farm has been in operation for 120 years! William Zollinger purchased this land in 1904, and planted one of the first commercial fruit orchards in Cache Valley. Since that time, these acres have seen a wide variety of crops, including fruits, vegetables, grains, hay, and trees of many kinds. In recent decades, we’ve come to enjoy growing landscape trees that can handle the many rigors of a high mountain climate, and we’ve found great satisfaction in that endeavor.

After testing scores of trees throughout our region, we now grow 75 that we’ve found to do well in most situations. We think you’ll be impressed with our tree selection and the high quality we strive for.

As with our tree crop, we’ve also narrowed the scope of our fruit production to solely apples and peaches, providing high-quality fruit for both our customers and our own families. Home-grown taste and freshness are high priority for us, so we pick all our fruit at (or very near) peak ripeness. Each season we sell our fresh fruit products right here at the farm. This is a family tradition we cherish, and we’re sure you’ll taste that in every mouthful.

In 2004 the farm was awarded Century Farm status, and in 2006 it was placed under the protection of a state-held conservation easement.  Our hope is that future generations will benefit from our quality products and historic land. Thanks for being part of our story!
