WINTER KING HAWTHORN

Crataegus viridis ‘Winter King’

Usually lower growing than other Hawthorns. With wider branch angles, it develops a wider spread than height which gives it a bold look in the winter. Clusters of white flowers appear in the spring followed by dark green leaves. Small bright red fruit in the fall is attractive to birds.
