BIG TOOTH MAPLE

Acer grandidentatum

Big tooth maple is native to this region and is typically seen in large groves on the slopes of mountains and in the foothills. It is obviously very well adapted to this area and hardy. Much of the color we see on the mountains in the fall is the bright red color of this small maple.
